Julie Herlocker
Director
Julie Herlocker’s career has given her amazing insights into visual storytelling - prior to her work as a director, she was a post production producer in episodic television, working with legendary creators like Aaron Sorkin and Steven Spielberg.
Her experience directing countless actors in thousands of hours of ADR, overseeing editorial, VFX, ADR, sound design, music and color correction all inform her directing. Julie understands not only how to manage a budget, but how to make sure the money shows up on screen.
A graduate of the DGA’s highly selective DDI Mentorship Program and a director in the Paramount Global Directing Initiative, Herlocker was recently selected for the Alliance of Women Directors’ inaugural Rising Director Fellowship. She continues to develop multiple projects, focusing on female driven thrillers, with her company Shadow Art Entertainment.
